Information Provided by Parents

When a parent or guardian creates an account, we collect:

• Parent's email address
• Password (stored encrypted)
• Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store full credit card numbers)

Important: Parents are the only ones who can create accounts. We require verifiable parental consent before a child can use our services, in compliance with COPPA.

Information Collected from Children

Once a parent creates an account and sets up a child profile, children can interact with our games. We collect:

• Avatars and Usernames: Kids can create their own avatars and select usernames. We encourage parents to help children choose usernames that do not reveal their real names. Usernames are considered persistent identifiers under COPPA.
• Gameplay Data: Non-identifiable data about game progress, scores, and activities completed — used only to save progress and improve the games.

We do not collect a child's real name, physical address, phone number, or any social media identifiers.

3. Audio Permissions and Voice Data

Some of our games feature interactive biblical avatars that children can talk to. To enable this feature, the app will request access to the device's microphone. This requires explicit parental consent during the login and setup process.

This disclosure satisfies the COPPA 2025 amendment requirements regarding audio file handling for children's apps, as well as Google Play and Apple App Store microphone permission disclosure requirements.

4. How We Use the Information

We use the information we collect strictly to provide and improve the Rain Hope Games experience:

• Providing access to games, magazines, and activities.
• Saving game progress and avatar customizations.
• Communicating with parents regarding account updates, subscription status, or new features.

We do not use children's data for behavioral advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond providing the service.

5. Third-Party Vendors and Marketplace

We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Any third-party service providers we use (such as hosting services or payment processors) are strictly bound by confidentiality agreements and are only permitted to use data to provide services to us.

Any vendors or digital magazines featured in our marketplace go through a rigorous vetting process to ensure their content is safe, biblically appropriate, and compliant with our strict privacy standards. No vendor gains access to user data.

We do not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs that share data with third parties, or social media SDKs that collect data from children.

We retain parent account information for as long as the account is active or as needed to provide services. Children's gameplay data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted password storage, and access controls to protect the information we collect. While no system is completely secure, we continuously monitor our platform to safeguard against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction of data.

9. Google Play Families Policy Compliance

In compliance with Google Play Families Policy:

• Our app does not contain ads.
• Our app does not include in-app purchases accessible to children without parental approval.
• We do not collect sensitive personal information from children beyond what is necessary to operate the service.
• We do not use any Advertising ID from children.
• All APIs and SDKs used in our app are approved for use in apps targeting children.

10. Apple App Store Kids Category Compliance

In compliance with Apple's Kids Category requirements:

• Our app does not include third-party analytics or advertising.
• Our app does not include links out of the app or social media integrations without parental gate protection.
• We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the service.
• Parental consent is obtained before any data collection from children.
• Our privacy policy is clearly accessible within the app and on our website.
